The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, providing improved performance when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These sockets are up to 3/4" shorter, allowing for easier access into tight spaces. The DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and offer more load bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are specifically designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Each socket is made from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel, providing exceptional strength and durability, and is finished with manganese phosphate to resist corrosion.
