The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to ensure reliability and performance, eliminating power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils. These sockets provide easier access into tight spaces with a tool length that is up to 3/4" shorter when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. The DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and have a larger load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners that help reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are intended for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. These sockets are constructed from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel, providing exceptional strength and durability, and feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
