The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering easier access to tight spaces with up to 3/4" shorter tool length when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. The DXS® direct drive sockets provide a tighter fit and increased load-bearing surface, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners that help reduce fastener rounding. Each set includes an EVA foam shadow board organizer for efficient storage and is compatible with DXS2™ drive impact tools. These sockets are made from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, and feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
