The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering up to 3/4" shorter tool length for easier access into tight spaces when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets are engineered to fit tighter and provide a larger load-bearing surface than traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to minimize fastener rounding. The kits come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are specifically designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. These sockets are constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, and they feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion. They meet or exceed ASME specifications and include an option for a square retention pin conversion kit for a secure connection.
