These DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and feature a more load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Each socket incorporates a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to help reduce fastener rounding. The sets include an EVA foam shadow board organizer for efficient storage and are specifically designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Made from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel, these sockets offer exceptional strength and durability, complemented by a manganese phosphate finish that resists corrosion.
