The DXS® direct drive sockets are designed to fit tighter and provide a larger load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, achieving up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser-etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6-point hex corners that help reduce fastener rounding. Each set includes an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and is suitable for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Constructed from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel, these sockets offer exceptional strength and durability, complemented by a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
