The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering easier access to tight spaces with an up to 3/4" shorter tool length when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets provide a tighter fit and more load-bearing surface than traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. The sockets feature a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for efficient storage and are specifically designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Constructed from chrome molybdenum (CR-MO) alloy steel, they ensure exceptional strength and durability, while the manganese phosphate finish offers resistance to corrosion. The sockets meet or exceed ASME specifications, and a square retention pin conversion kit is available for a secure connection.
