The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering easier access to tight spaces with a tool length that is up to 3/4" shorter when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. These DXS® direct drive sockets provide a tighter fit and more load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and a 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners to help reduce fastener rounding. The sets also come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are specifically designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. These sockets are made from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability, and they feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
