The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils, offering improved performance when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches, providing up to 3/4" shorter tool length for better access in tight spaces. These DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and feature a greater load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Notable features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6-point hex corners to reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for convenient storage and are compatible with DXS2™ drive impact tools. Constructed from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel, they offer exceptional strength and durability, along with a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion.
