The Drive Xchange System™ sockets are designed to prevent power loss from worn sockets and square drive anvils. They provide easier access into tight spaces with a tool length that is up to 3/4" shorter when used with Ingersoll Rand® DXS® impact wrenches. DXS® direct drive sockets fit tighter and feature increased load-bearing surface compared to traditional square drives, resulting in up to 15% better torque transfer and 20% longer wear life. Key features include a ball nose retention pin for quick, tool-free installation and removal, high visibility laser etched markings for easy size identification, and relieved 6 point hex corners that help reduce fastener rounding. The sets come with an EVA foam shadow board organizer for storage and are designed for use with DXS2™ drive impact tools. They are made from chrome molybdenum (Cr-Mo) alloy steel for exceptional strength and durability and feature a manganese phosphate finish to resist corrosion. These sockets meet or exceed ASME specifications, and a square retention pin conversion kit is available for a secure connection. They are backed by a lifetime limited warranty.
