The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units are designed for warehouses that handle a wide variety of product types, offering versatility and ease of configuration. Each pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column for shelf adjustment at 2" increments. Standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The add-on unit undergoes a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, providing anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and great durability against wear and tear in warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, protecting against accidental beam displacement, while the damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use. Additionally, the 1 - 5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams allows for the incorporation of wire decking and other accessories. The Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
