The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units provide versatility for warehouses that have a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials. Tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column allow for shelf adjustment at 2" increments, while standard, pre-punched footplates offer easy anchoring. The add-on unit undergoes a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, which enhances anti-corrosion protection, ensures even layer thickness, and provides great protection against everyday wear and tear in warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams feature a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that seats and locks automatically, protecting against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use. The 1 - 5/8" step within the orange pallet rack beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. The assembly process is easy and straightforward, and these Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
