The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units provide versatility for warehouses with a wide variety of product types. This pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column that allow for shelf adjustment at 2" increments. Standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The add-on unit is treated with a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and excellent durability against everyday wear and tear. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, providing protection against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, and the 1 - 5/8" step within the beams accommodates wire decking and other accessories. Assembly is straightforward and simple, and the Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc. (RMI).
