The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units are designed for warehouses that handle a diverse range of product types and come pre-configured with two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are constructed from high-strength steel and other high-quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the face of the upright column for adjustable shelf placement at 2" increments. The standard pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. Additionally, the units undergo a cataphoresis paint process utilizing electro-chemical technology, which provides anti-corrosion protection, uniform layer thickness, and enhanced durability against the wear and tear common in warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams are equipped with a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, ensuring protection against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, while the 1 - 5/8" step within the beams allows for the addition of wire decking and other accessories. The assembly process is straightforward, and the Interlake Mecalux bolted pallet rack tear drop starter units are certified by the Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI).
