The Interlake Mecalux assembled selective bolted pallet starter units are designed for versatility in warehouses handling diverse product types. Each pre-configured starter unit includes two upright frames and two beam shelf levels. The uprights and beams are manufactured from high-strength steel and other quality raw materials, featuring tear drop perforations on the upright columns for shelf adjustment at 2" increments. The standard, pre-punched footplates facilitate easy anchoring. The units undergo a cataphoresis paint process based on electro-chemical technology, offering anti-corrosion protection, even layer thickness, and durability against wear in warehouse environments. The orange pallet rack beams utilize a piston lock frame-to-beam connection that automatically seats and locks, safeguarding against accidental beam displacement. This damage and tamper-proof piston lock system prevents disengagement during use, while the 1 - 5/8" step within the beams allows for the addition of wire decking and other accessories. These units are designed for easy and simple assembly and are Rack Manufacturers Institute, Inc (RMI) certified.
