Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for a variety of storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock areas, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability; these uprights come fully assembled and ready to install, with slots that allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, employ a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space; the MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the uprights’ slots with 1-1/2-inch vertical center adjustments. Beams install without tools and feature fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage options can be created by adding more levels with front-to-back supports.
