Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. These uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability, with slots allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams at 1-1/2-inch centers without any dead spots along the height. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" design to increase strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. Beam ends feature three studs that engage with upright slots, and MIG welded beam clips add strength; beams install without tools and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional levels can be added with solid decking to expand storage options. The product includes warranty terms indicating long-lasting durability and reliability under normal use conditions.
