Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with galvanized wire decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for holding medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray to protect the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each coming fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire post height without dead spots, and one pair can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, and each end of the beam has three studs to engage the rack upright slots. Beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools; a fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. The galvanized flat wire decking further adds to the storage options by allowing additional levels to be created with adjustable metal storage racks.
