Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The rack is made of heavy-duty steel with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights constructed from 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for stability. The uprights feature slots for quick vertical adjustment of beams, allowing placement along the entire height without dead spots, and each pair can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength, load capacity, and tip resistance. MIG welded beam clips provide added strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the uprights’ slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The package includes solid decking to create additional storage levels on the adjustable metal storage racks.
