Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for a variety of storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations, and hospitals for medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, protecting the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which is shipped fully assembled and ready to install. The uprights incorporate tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, with slots allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the height of the post. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage with the metal rack upright slots. Beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures them to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be added to expand capacity.
