Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The upright has tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots that provide quick vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots to disrupt beam placement, allowing optimal storage solutions. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of bulk storage rack uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and minimizing wasted space. The beams feature MIG welded clips and have three studs at each end to engage the metal rack upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be added to the adjustable metal storage rack for enhanced flexibility.
