Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty rack shelf is constructed with welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights are fully assembled and ready to install with slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without any dead spots, supporting a load capacity of up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and resist tipping while optimizing space. Beam ends have three studs to engage with the upright slots and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools; a fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Particle board decking can be added to create additional storage levels. The rack comes with a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use.
