The Lyon® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. This heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots providing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots to disrupt beam placement. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique Z beam design to enhance strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space, with MIG welded beam clips for added strength. Each end of the beam has three studs that engage the metal rack upright slots, allowing easy adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks. The rack complies with industry standards for heavy-duty metal storage solutions and includes a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for a specified period.
