Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suits various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as medical supply storage in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray for protection against everyday use. The starter includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for stability and slots that allow easy vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots along the post height, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design, increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space; MIG welded beam clips enhance strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
