Lyon's bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items, suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. Each upright is fully assembled, featuring slots for quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams are also 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space, using MIG welded beam clips and three studs on each end to engage with upright slots. Beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, with fold-in lock tabs preventing accidental displacement. Ribbed decking can be added to create additional levels for optimized storage. The steel storage rack is finished with a durable powder coat in dove gray to protect against everyday use, and the entire assembly meets industrial quality standards.
