Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack is constructed with a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made from 14-gauge steel that is fully assembled and ready to install, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots for quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire post height without dead spots. When paired with a starter unit, two uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping, while eliminating wasted space. The beams feature MIG welded clips and have three studs on each end to engage the rack upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Beams install without tools and include a fold-in lock tab that engages with the post to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more beams with front-to-back supports to the adjustable metal storage rack.
