Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, protecting the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The uprights incorporate tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for increased stability and have slots that allow quick, easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the height of the post. When paired with a starter unit, two bulk storage rack uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, crafted from 14-gauge steel, feature a unique "Z" design that enhances strength and load capacity while preventing tipping and minimizing wasted space. Each beam end has three studs for engagement with upright slots, with adjustments possible at 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. The beams install without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beam to the post to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be added to customize space as needed.
