Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray that protects it from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability, providing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with slots that eliminate dead spots along the entire height. One pair of uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each beam end engage with the upright slots, allowing adjustments on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking to the adjustable metal racks.
