Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects against everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights provide slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any "dead spots" to hinder beam placement, and when combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while eliminating wasted space. Beam ends feature three studs to engage the upright slots, and beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab prevents accidental beam displacement, and additional storage levels can be created by adding more front-to-back supports to the adjustable metal storage rack.
