Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish that protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which is ready to install and features tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability. The upright slots allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams with no dead spots, enabling beam placement along the entire height of the post. When combined with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips provide added strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots. Beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, allowing level spacing adjustment as storage needs change. A fold-in lock tab engages with the post to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels with front-to-back supports can be created by adding more beams.
