Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes two fully assembled welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights offer adjustable slots for quick vertical beam placement without dead spots, supporting up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while maximizing space efficiency. Beam ends have three studs for engagement with upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and install without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. Ribbed decking adds additional storage levels for versatility. The rack complies with relevant industry specifications and Lyon provides a warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship for the duration specified in their warranty terms.
