Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications, including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable dove gray powder coat finish for protection against everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability. Uprights have slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams at 1-1/2-inch centers with no “dead spots” along the post height, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The beams are constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while preventing tipping and minimizing wasted space; beam clips are MIG welded, and beam ends feature three studs to engage upright slots. Beams install without tools and include a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Ribbed decking can be added to expand storage levels with stable support. The rack complies with relevant safety standards and includes a limited warranty covering workmanship and materials.
