Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects against everyday wear. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, each with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for enhanced stability. The uprights have vertical slots that allow beam adjustment at 1-1/2-inch centers without dead spots, enabling optimal storage configurations, and each pair can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, load capacity, and stability, and resist tipping while maximizing space. Beam ends have three studs to secure to the uprights, fastening with MIG welded clips and fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Beams install without tools, allowing easy reconfiguration, and additional levels with solid decking can be added for more storage options. The solid decking included provides a sturdy surface for stored items. The product complies with applicable industry standards for metal storage racks and comes with manufacturer warranty terms.
