Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with front-to-back supports is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, and hospital medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect the shelving from everyday use. It includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots that allow quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the entire height of the post. When used with a starter unit, a pair of these uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also constructed of 14-gauge steel, incorporate a "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, resist tipping, and eliminate wasted space. Each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and installs without tools for easy level spacing adjustments. The beams include MIG welded clips for added strength and a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage options can be created by adding more levels with front-to-back supports to the adjustable metal storage rack.
