Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications, including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, as well as hospitals for holding medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in Dove Gray, providing protection against everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The upright has tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots that allow quick vertical beam adjustments without dead spots, enabling placement along the entire height of the post. When paired with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel and feature a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while maximizing space efficiency. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage the upright slots. Beams can be adjusted in 1-1/2-inch vertical increments and install without tools, with a fold-in lock tab preventing accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks. The product is backed by warranty terms as specified by the manufacturer.
