Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with ribbed decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for multiple storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, protecting the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which is assembled and ready to install. These uprights have tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, with slots allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without "dead spots." One pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made from 14-gauge steel, incorporate a unique "Z" beam design to enhance strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and eliminate wasted space, with MIG welded beam clips and three studs at each end to engage upright slots. Beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, while a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. The ribbed decking option allows for additional storage levels on the adjustable metal storage racks.
