Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with front-to-back supports is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The heavy-duty rack shelf is constructed with welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The uprights have slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without "dead spots," enabling beam placement along the entire post height, and one pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design for increased strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while minimizing wasted space. These beams feature MIG welded clips for strength and have three studs at each end to engage with the uprights' slots, adjustable in 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and installable without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement, and additional levels with front-to-back supports can be added to customize storage.
