Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display and back stock, as well as hospitals for medical supplies. This heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The uprights have tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability, with slots allowing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the entire post height. When paired with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. The beams feature MIG welded clips and three studs at each end to engage the upright slots securely and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab ensures beam engagement to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding more solid decking to these adjustable metal storage racks.
