Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock areas, and hospital medical supply storage. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray to protect the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each fully assembled and ready to install, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The slots in the uprights allow for quick and easy vertical adjustments of the beams along the entire height of the post without "dead spots." One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made of 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resists tipping while minimizing wasted space. Beam clips are MIG welded, with three studs at each beam end to engage with the upright slots, and beams adjust easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. Fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement of the beams. Ribbed decking can be added to create additional storage levels on the adjustable metal storage racks.
