Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display, back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The kit includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for stability, featuring slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the height of the post. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. Heavy-duty beams are constructed of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips and three studs at each end to engage the upright slots and can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to the post to prevent accidental displacement. Particle board decking can be added to create additional storage levels. The steel racks are finished with a durable powder coat paint in Dove Gray to protect against everyday use.
