Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect the shelving from daily use. It includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability and slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, and resist tipping while minimizing wasted space. Beam ends have three studs to engage with the upright slots, allowing tool-free adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and a fold-in lock tab prevents accidental displacement. The package includes solid decking to further enhance storage capacity, with the option to add more levels as needed. All components comply with applicable industrial metal rack standards and offer a durable, long-lasting storage solution backed by warranty terms.
