Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for the hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, as well as hospital medical supply storage. The steel storage racks have a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which helps protect the shelving from everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability; each upright is fully assembled and ready to install, featuring slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the height of the post. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. Beams include MIG welded clips for added strength and have three studs on each end to engage the uprights’ slots, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, with a fold-in lock tab to prevent accidental displacement; beams install without tools for easy spacing adjustment. The package includes galvanized flat wire decking to add more storage levels and options. The system meets all applicable safety certifications and standards.
