Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and hospital medical supply storage. The rack features welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel that come fully assembled, with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for enhanced stability and slots for quick vertical beam adjustment without "dead spots," allowing beam placement along the entire post height. A pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams, also made from 14-gauge steel, utilize a unique "Z" design to increase strength and load capacity, resist tipping, and maximize space. The beams attach to uprights via MIG welded clips with three studs per end to engage upright slots and adjust easily on 1-1/2 inch vertical centers without tools. A fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The powder coat finish in dove gray protects the shelving from everyday wear. The package includes particle board decking to add more levels to the adjustable racks, enhancing storage capacity.
