Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and medical supply storage in hospitals. The heavy-duty steel rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect against everyday use. The starter kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel, each with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability, and slots that allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without dead spots, capable of holding up to 10,000 lbs per pair. The heavy-duty beams, also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" design, enhance strength, load capacity, and resistance to tipping while eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips, three studs at each end to engage the uprights, adjustable on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers, and fold-in lock tabs to prevent accidental displacement. Beams install without tools for easy level spacing adjustments, and additional levels can be created using particle board decking.
