Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications such as shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The heavy-duty steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray, which protects the shelving during everyday use. The kit includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the posts for added stability; each upright is fully assembled and ready to install, with slots providing quick and easy vertical adjustment of beams along the entire height without dead spots. One pair of uprights can support loads up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength, load capacity, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space. Beam ends have three studs that engage rack upright slots, and beams can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. Fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. The ribbed decking allows adding multiple levels to these adjustable metal storage racks to enhance storage capacity.
