Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with galvanized wire decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving, retail display and back stock, as well as holding medical supplies in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish available in dove gray, which protects the shelving from everyday use. It includes two fully welded uprights made from 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for stability, and the uprights allow quick vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots to disrupt beam placement. Each pair of uprights supports up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength, resists tipping, and eliminates wasted space, featuring MIG welded beam clips and three studs on each end to engage with upright slots. Beam spacing can be adjusted on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools, and a fold-in lock tab secures the beams to prevent accidental displacement. The galvanized flat wire decking adds further storage options by enabling additional levels on the adjustable metal racks. The system is MIG welded for structural integrity, complies with industrial standards, and includes specifications such as gauge thickness, load capacities, adjustable beam spacing, and finishes.
