Lyon's bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading of intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospital medical supplies. The steel storage racks feature a durable powder coat finish in dove gray to protect from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability, offering quick and easy vertical beam adjustment without any dead spots along the post height. When paired with a starter unit, a pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also constructed from 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that enhances strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The beams have MIG welded clips and each end contains three studs that engage with the uprights’ slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers. Tool-free beam installation permits easy spacing modifications, and fold-in lock tabs prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage configurations can be created by adding more levels with solid decking to the adjustable metal storage racks.
