Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with solid decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and can be used in various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail displays, back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install, featuring tubular bracing MIG welded to the post for added stability. The upright slots allow easy vertical beam adjustment without dead spots, enabling optimal placement of beams along the entire post height. When paired with a starter unit, two uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end includes three studs to engage the upright slots. Beams adjust on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools, allowing easy level spacing changes. A fold-in lock tab secures beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding solid decking to the adjustable metal racks. The product complies with relevant industry standards and includes a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
