Lyon's® bulk storage rack starter with ribbed decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and suits various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail display and back stock, and medical supplies storage in hospitals. The rack features a durable powder coat finish in dove gray that protects the shelving from everyday use. The starter includes two fully welded uprights made of 14-gauge steel with tubular bracing MIG welded to each post for added stability. Each upright is fully assembled, ready to install, and features slots for quick and easy vertical adjustment of the beams without "dead spots," allowing beam placement along the entire height of the post. One pair of uprights can hold up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design that increases strength and load capacity while resisting tipping and eliminating wasted space. The MIG welded beam clips provide added strength, and each beam end has three studs to engage with the upright slots. Beams can be adjusted easily on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers and install without tools; a fold-in lock tab secures beams to prevent accidental displacement. Additional levels with ribbed decking can be added to adjustable metal storage racks to create more storage options. The bulk storage rack starter comes with a limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
