Lyon's® bulk storage rack add-on with particle board decking is designed for hand-loading intermediate weight bulky items and is suitable for various storage applications including shipping and receiving departments, retail locations for display or back stock, and hospitals for medical supplies. The steel storage racks feature a durable dove gray powder coat finish to protect against everyday use. The add-on includes one fully welded upright made of 14-gauge steel, which comes fully assembled and ready to install. The upright has tubular bracing that is MIG welded to the post for added stability and slots that allow quick, easy vertical adjustment of beams without any dead spots along the entire height. One pair of uprights can support up to 10,000 lbs. The heavy-duty beams are also made of 14-gauge steel with a unique "Z" beam design to increase strength, load capacity, resist tipping, and eliminate wasted space. MIG welded beam clips add strength, and each beam end has three studs that engage with upright slots, allowing adjustment on 1-1/2-inch vertical centers without tools. The fold-in lock tab secures the beam to prevent accidental displacement. Additional storage levels can be created by adding particle board decking to adjustable metal racks. The rack system complies with relevant industry standards and comes with a warranty covering materials and workmanship for a specified term.
